No prior IT experience required! If you can use a computer for everyday tasks, you're ready to start. We begin with the fundamentals and build from there.
This course aligns with CompTIA A+ (Core 1 & Core 2), the industry-standard entry-level IT certification. You'll also receive a QualifyNation IT Support certificate.
A computer with internet access is all you need. Virtual labs are provided for hands-on practice. An old PC to practice hardware skills is helpful but not required.
Windows 10/11, macOS, Ubuntu Linux, Microsoft 365, remote support tools, ticketing systems, and various troubleshooting utilities.
Entry-level roles include Help Desk Technician, IT Support Specialist, Desktop Support, Technical Support Representative, and Field Service Technician. Starting salaries range from £22,000-£28,000.
The course is 480 hours total. Full-time learners typically complete it in 4-5 months (25-30 hours/week). Part-time learners can spread it over 8-10 months (12-15 hours/week).
